While there is so much beauty in this world, there is also a tremendous amount of suffering as well. This pain is often what brings people to counseling, and I am honored to walk beside clients as they navigate life’s challenges towards wholeness and healing.
In my work with clients, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you can share about your journey and experience. My therapeutic approach tends to be very client-centered. I aim to support clients in recognizing strengths while also acknowledging the realities and struggles they are facing.
When working with children, I enjoy using child-centered play therapy as well as more directive play therapy approaches as it allows children to communicate in their most natural language: the language of play.
I have experience working with clients experiencing a range of social and emotional difficulties including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, divorce, emotional regulation issues, social skills challenges, and more.
